Explora Digital Certificate

Explora Digital Certificate

Over 10 nationalities make up this first edition of Explora and all the MSc degrees in Business Management are represented in it.

This disruptive and innovative fast-track digital certificate, co-designed with blue chip digital companies and start-ups, is based on learning by doing and self-education. It offers students a tremendous opportunity to work on unsolved issues supplied by partner companies and to obtain a digital certificate.

In early September, first year Explora students discovered their assignment and the issues to be solved as well as the methodology to be followed for 4 intense months. Our students will experience a real digital adventure. Working in teams supported by a business mentor, they will have 4 months to work on issues such as:

  • Definie and prototype Dailymotion's Innovation Platform by Dailymotion.
  • How to increase the audience and usage of MYTF1 application and website during the live broadcast of the The Voice by E-TF1.
  • How to extend Quoty app services to other verticals (luxury goods, entertainment, Soho market) by La Poste.

Explora is organised in three stages:

  • Packup during which students equip themselves with the necessary tools for their digital journey and their assignment.
  • Journey with a partner company’s problem to solve.
  • Settlement in January 2016 during which the teams will present their prototypes on the EDHEC campus in Paris. The projects are assessed by the companies, the teaching staff and the students.

To obtain the Explora Digital Certificate in addition to their EDHEC diploma, students are assessed at the end of the period during the final presentation of their project. They also take the DiGITT® test which assesses and certifies over 50 key digital knowledge items and skills in business.
