Financial Economics Curriculum

If you are a young graduate or young professional, our flagship Grande École programme will provide you with the opportunity to study for a double degree: the Master in Management and the Master of Science. The full-time programme is taught entirely in English, and is specifically designed for talents with a first degree in a numerate discipline seeking international careers in finance. The first year equips you with the fundamental knowledge in finance and technical competencies required for your qualification and specialisation internships as well as for your Master 2.

 

Foundation Year


Year 1
You will learn the fundamentals of finance through academic coursework and will have constant interaction with business executives. You will gain the technical competencies required for your mandatory internships.

QTEM INTERNATIONAL NETWORK 
This prestigious network brings together outstanding students, academic partners and international corporations. The key focus is the development of analytical and quantitative techniques within an international context. As a Master in Management Financial Economics student, you can enter the QTEM network and spend a semester with one of QTEM’s academic partners. Upon successful completion of your semester you may be awarded the QTEM Masters Network Certificate

Exchange or Professional Immersion

Year 2
QUALIFICATION AND SPECIALISATION INTERNSHIPS
An outstanding opportunity for you to acquire your first professional work experience and to leverage your international profile through 2 mandatory 6-month internships. You may also opt for a 6-month exchange at a partner university.

Advanced Specialisation (MSc)

Year 3 
You will return for your final year of studies and specialise in an area of finance, from a choice of: Financial Markets, Corporate Finance & Banking, Risk & Finance or International Accounting & Finance.




ACADEMIC PARTNER

The MIM FE (Master in Management Financial Economics) is a CFA Partner programme. The partnership with the CFA Institute, the world’s largest association of investment professionals, provides access to various on-campus CFA resources and you can prepare for the CFA Level I, a professional diploma, whilst completing your degree.
