Master in Management

Exchange programmes and double diploma agreements

EDHEC's is becoming increasingly well known for its international aspect that continues to grow, in particular in the EDHEC Grande Ecole programme and the Master of Science programmes.

In 2006, 783 international students from 77 different nationalities joined our campuses. 37 nationalities are represented in our MSc programmes alone and the number of non-French nationals reaches over 70% in some of these classes.

A truly international school

There are three main reasons for the increase in number of international students who choose to come to EDHEC.

Firstly, programme harmonization and mutual recognition of learning paths between the different EU countries, following the Bologna agreement led to an increase in the number of students going to study in another European country. Students can also apply for Erasmus grants as well as grants from general and regional councils. In certain cases, students may be eligible for a combination of all three grants.

Secondly, as programmes like the Theseus-EDHEC MBA and the Master of Science programmes are delivered entirely in English, our offer attracts students of all nationalities.

Thirdly, all the Grande Ecole students are required to carry out at least one complete six-month period abroad, either in a company placement or in a foreign exchange programme and this concerns around 500 students a year.

Impressive exchange programme

As the leading French business management school in terms of student intake, EDHEC is also number one for the number of students who go to work or study abroad. And as these exchanges rely on the principle of reciprocity, the School must design programmes that are highly attractive to particularly discerning foreign customers. That is why students may now join the English Track, with all its courses delivered in English, on both the Nice and Lille campuses, giving foreign students the opportunity to join the Grande Ecole programme which they might be unable to follow if the programme was taught entirely in French.

New agreements have extended the range of destinations offered to the students and have led to new exchange programmes being introduced.
